Notes

This is a pretty standard build for VII and most loadouts look similar to this. I think you can get away with The Night at 4 instead of 5, in case you want more health or Terror. Usually Chronos 2 is enough, but sometimes it's a good idea to pick up tier 3 if the enemy team is applying a lot of pressure on you.

Notes

Drogoz:

VII can very effectively snipe Drogoz out of the sky with his Burst Mode, especially with how big he is. Even if the Drogoz would try to ult you, VII has no problem at all getting out of the way in a jiffy. You won't hit Drogoz with your bombs very often though, and his rockets will knock you off of a wall if he hits you. Also, since you're so squishy, the Salvo Spit combo will almost definitely kill you if they pull it off.

Willo:

Willo is very similar to Drogoz, large and easy to hit. You pretty much never get affected by her Dead Zone or Seedlings, so it's all about juking her primary shots. Willo can be one of the easiest targets as VII.

Corvus:

Ironically, VII is pretty good into Corvus. Corvus does good damage, but doesn't really have any way of getting away from VII or stopping him with CC. Stunning Visage is slightly more problematic if they hit their daggers, but still an easy target regardless.

Moji:

It's very easy for VII to stay out of Moji's range, making her a non-issue most of the time. Moji can very quickly kill you if you get too close, so it's best to poke her from long range and only dive her if she doesn't know you're there or her Magic Barrier is on cooldown.

Rei:

Rei's Envelop does literally nothing against any of your abilities other than Mag Dump. Even headshots in Burst Mode don't do enough to get effected by it. Rei can Link you to limit your movement, her projectiles are very easy to hit, she can save allies with her ult, and she can be hard to hit, but in general she's a fairly easy target. If she ults, it's usually best to retreat.

Notes

Lex:

Lex can perma-mark you so he constantly has wallhacks on you and can out damage you at close to medium range. As long as Lex positions well so he only catches you at those ranges, there isn't a whole lot you can do other than play a little more passively than usual. If their Lex is good, hold off on diving until he's dead or distracted.

Sha Lin:

Sha Lin can easily two-shot you and cripple with his alt-fire. Watch the Sha Lin carefully to ensure that he doesn't catch you off guard, because you're pretty much dead if he cripples you. If you know his alt-fire is on cooldown, you can maybe go for a play, but he can still two-shot you so be careful.

Torvald:

As long as you stay out of Torvald's range he isn't so bad, but he forces you to play passively because you are definitely dead if he silences you. That being said, poking Torvald from long range can be quite effective as he is large and has no mobility. Again, wait to go for plays until he's dead or his Nullify is on cooldown. Torvald can also save allies that you dive with his shields, so definitely pick up Wrecker.

Tyra:

Tyra is very similar to Lex. She can mark you from any range at any time to get wallhacks on you and increase her damage against you. Hunting Party makes this even worse because the whole team can see you. Playing against a Tyra who marks you constantly is one of the hardest things to deal with as VII, and can sometimes feel impossible. The only upside is that she has no mobility, making her easy to hit.

Lian:

Lian can autoaim you from pretty much anywhere and burst you down very quickly. Even if you catch her off guard, if she has her ult up you're pretty screwed unless you juke it. Lian is also pretty mobile, making her difficult to hit at times.

Makoa:

Makoa isn't so bad other than his shield and hook. If Makoa hooks you, you are practically guaranteed to die. His shield is also very effective at guarding himself and his allies from your pokes and dives. He can also ult to deny a kill or to cancel your ult.
