Free Agent - EU

Video guide with a sample match: https://youtu.be/K7gOJXZiI4E

The Banners Fall support meta is Ying=Grover > Io> Lillith> SI Corvus> CM Pip> Healbot Rei > Mal'Damba > Jenos > Seris > Solar Blessing Furia > Grohk > Cherish Furia

Usually Lillith sees more play because she's a molotov despenser and my even have higher healing done than Io, but Lillith has such a higher skill floor.

Io being simple to play, being completely item free, and having one of the best survivability tactics of body blocking with Luna and your very own defender at the same time makes her matchups against flankers very favorable.

COMMON NOOB TRAPS IO PLAYERS FALL FOR

1- NEVER buy chronos as Io: you don't get more healing juice, you don't need more leaps, and keep luna alive by positioning her and moving her out of danger when needed, there's 0 legitimate reason to buy chronos even for the 16s cooldown of Luna respawning, waste of 1800 credits over a skill issue.

2- Don't deploy Luna in spawn: when you move her around, it takes much longer for her to move to your location if she was in spawn

3- Luna blocks people: yeah that's bad man don't block your teammates in doorways by moving luna into the door, also that's a bad spot for luna.

Notes

Moonwalk 4 + Protectors 4 gives you around 5.7s of uptime on healing (approx 5700 total healing done per capacity)

Sanctum 4 is a net reduction of your "resource regen" by 15%, it's amazing.

Swift Arrows 3 moves your allies faster to safer spots and helps your Zhin/Drogoz aggro harder with 18% movement speed

Spirit Arrows 2 allows you to reposition luna once every couple of seconds

Restored Faith is a required card for playing Io, you can't just rely on luna to heal you, that is soft throwing if you do.

Notes

Io has 3 moonlight regeneration cards

Protectors

As long as Io is standing inside Luna's healing radius, you gain 10% moonlight every 1s while not using moonlight, this card is bad because it requires Luna to be positioned horribly for it to work, Luna is not meant to sit on you 24/7, put her on your off tank/flank lane to help them stay up longer and keep moving her around based on the situation.

Moonlight Garden

Reduces your healbotting and allows you to shoot your weapon to get back to healbotting, does not activate on shields or deployables, making it require farmables like Raum Inara and point tank Yag, maybe Azaan, not a bad card, but what do you replace in your loadout for it? Sanctum?

It has its moments but Sanctum is always up, and btw you shoot once every 0.4s or twice every 0.8s meaning this is the highest regen card available to Io, allowing just 3 points on it to surpass the other cards but you need to be hitting those shots!

Sanctum

Reliable, always on, great, consistent, no requirements.
