I had seen no one had written a Khan guide thus far, so I figured I'd try my hand at it.

I've got several hours under my belt, but I am by no means a high-elo player. Keep that in mind while reading, and enjoy :)

Abilities:

Left Click | Heavy Repeater - Fire one 200 damage shot every 0.26s. 20 ammo, 1.5s reload time.

Right Click | Bulwark - 6,000 health personal shield. Shields must reach 50% charge before being raised again, and a broken shield takes 14s to recover to full.

F | Commander's Grab - Deals 600 damage, then throws the target behind Khan. Enemies are stunned for 1s while thrown. Passes through shields and CC Immune targets. Probably Khan's strongest ability.

Q | Battle Shout - Let out a shout, granting yourself complete damage immunity for 1s, and heals yourself and nearby allies for 1000 health.

E | Overpower - Target an enemy and drag them to you for up to 5s. You may move with them, and throw them omnidirectionally. A thrown enemy making contact with a wall or enemy player will take 700 damage. Khan is CC Immune during Overpower, and If Khan misses Overpower or the enemy dies within 2s of being grabbed, Khan is refunded 30% ult charge.

Talents:

LIAN'S SHIELD (Default Talent) - Your shield recharges at 100% effectiveness while it is raised.

- Never use this talent after unlocking another. Lian's Shield will be countered by any form of Wrecker and will render Khan talent-less for most of the game.

STORM OF BULLETS (Unlocked at Level 2) - Your weapon fires 40% faster and has 10 more rounds, but deals 25% less damage per shot.

- A great talent for spreading and keeping Caut on targets, Storm of Bullets is incredibly powerful, but not my talent of choice. On paper, Storm of Bullets should be the go-to talent, drastically increasing your damage output from 4,000 potential damage per clip to 4,500.

VORTEX GRIP (Unlocked at Level 8) - Victims of Commander's Grab are stunned for an additional 2s.

- My preferred talent. Vortex Grip forces the enemy to invest into Resilience or else die for getting grabbed. With it, Khan can duel most champions in the game. Incredibly slept on.

General Khan Tips:

- Grabbing enemies with Commander's Grab through shields is an invaluable skill, preying on low health targets hiding behind shields will often result in a free kill.

- Overpower has a very large range. So long as the enemy is highlighted in red(usually indicating no damage falloff), they are able to be grabbed with Overpower.

- All four of Khan's abilities can animation cancel Khan's reload. So long as the reload circle is 2/3rds full, pulling up Khan's shield, shouting, grabbing, or ulting will cancel Khan's reload animation.

- Take care during your ultimate! Overpower locks you in the throwing animation until your target reaches its maximum distance, so when throwing enemies far away, you will be immobile and defenseless for 1 - 1.5s.

- When ulting people off the map, make sure to shoot off opponents at a downward angle during Overpower, as some champions can return from their launch if sent high enough.

- Commander's Grab, Battle Shout, and Overpower can be used while in shield. Optimize your gameplay by eliminating the need to drop shield first, or surprise enemies with a grab immediately out of shield!

Good item choices will make or break a Khan, so choose wisely! For the most part, he's pretty simple. Haven can also always be Blast Shields depending on the enemy team comp, and I left the fourth item slot open for those situational item choices like Bulldozer, Resilence, Illuminate, and Wrecker.

What Cards to Choose

Khan builds are relatively simple. There's a lot of personal preference involved in Khan builds, but they generally tend to at least have two staple cards, Platemail and Never Surrender!.

Legendary-wise, I will always vouch for Vortex Grip over Storm of Bullets. Storm of Bullets is way more common, but the 3s stun Vortex Grab provides is invaluable and often ends up with a free kill for your team. Storm of Bullets has higher DPS than Vortex Grip, but the latter of the two allows Khan to solo-kill 2,000 - 2,400 HP targets. Ultimately, it's all personal preference, and the only wrong choice is Lian's Shield.

Notes

Androxus - Commander's Grab goes through Reversal, setting it on a 14s cooldown and stunning him, more importantly. When in a fight with an Androxus, you should win every time.

Ash - Not only does Commander's Grab outprioritize Shoulder Bash(if the two abilities collide, you win the trade), you can also similarly throw her away from her flag with Commander's Grab or Overpower.

Fernando - Commander's Grab will connect with a shielding Fernando and set his shield on a 15s cooldown, and stunning him for your team to follow up on, Similarly to Ash, you can Overpower enemies away from Immortal's aura, allowing them to be killed through Fernando's ult.

Makoa - Makoa is a sitting turtle during Shell Shield and is a free kill once grabbed.

Terminus - During fights if Terminus is holding Power Siphon on your team, Commander's Grab will interrupt the ability and lead to a free kill. Once killed, Reanimate can be blocked with Battle Shout.

Zhin - With the recent heavy nerfs to Zhin, Billow's timer is now a predictable 1.5s. With its predictability, it's easy to grab him as soon as it ends. Commander's Grab also goes through Counter.

Atlas - Setback will pass through your shield, denying your healing through Hopeguard or a previous shout. Exile, however, can be blocked with Bulwark.

Bomb King - King Bomb will also pass through your shield, stunning you for a guaranteed death, Chain Reaction or otherwise.

Evie - Like many champions, Evie counters Khan through exploiting Khan's linear shield. It protects in front of him, but not above. Champions like Drogoz, Maeve, and Evie all fit in this spot; exploiting his weakness to verticality.

Inara - Inara's Warder's Field shuts down Khan, with or without the Inara running Treacherous Ground, and Seismic Crash cannot be blocked.

Skye - Skye can delete most of your healthbar in a flash, leaving you with little to no health to fight back against her. Time Bomb also goes through shields, with your only defense being Battle Shout.
