Recently, I've been looking for an excuse to change up my playstyles with my favorite champs. I heard there's an IO nerf coming, but I think she's receiving buffs instead? Nonetheless, this is for those who want to try something new and escape the 15%DR and Luna point-capping loop.
This is all about staying on the move with your team, using your Luna to stun on-the-go (great for stopping flanks), body-block at times, using Life Link for AOE heals, and just having fun with this distant step-sibling of a game.
WHY USE 'PROTECTORS'?: It's pretty handy. If Luna has her stun ready-to-go, then there's very little reason to not stick by it and regen Moonlight.
WHY USE 'SPIRIT ARROWS'?: Use Moonlight on Luna itself or a teammate to reduce Luna's repositioning cooldown. MASSIVELY helpful card for this build.
WHY USE 'CRESCENT'?: I like the Lunar Leap reset for staying alive and repositioning on a dime. Perhaps you can go for the flying card to float around even more safely.
Try this out with Life Link to keep yourself relatively safe by hiding Luna around corners or along flanking routes to throw off flankers.
Regenerate 8% Moonlight every 1s while within 30 units of Luna.
Reduce the Cooldown of Luna's redeploy by 0.4s after healing with Moonlight.
Reset the Cooldown of Lunar Leap after dropping to or below 45% Health.
Generate 4% Moonlight for each enemy hit with Light Bow.
Increase Luna's deploy range by 20%.
