As we might now a Zhin in the hands of a pretty skilled player who knows when to get in and out of fights, who to target and who to stay away from can be a big threat to an entire team, a champion who is able to one-shot almost any character of the game and get out of that sticky situation with any of his abilities makes him a really good flanking option.
In the next guide I will provide the best matchups for Zhin, who to avoid diving into, who to target, the people who can absolutely demolish and which items to buy.
Since you might already know what his abilities do, I will skip that part and go directly to his combos and how to use his abilities the right way.
This guide is based on guillotine Zhin, since you wanna be super aggressive and have a one-shot card as a way out.Billow doesn't provide enough Hp Back and Yomi is only viable when the other team is really difficult to flank or you have a jenos on your team
Fighting SquishiesFirst Step: Basic Attacks, if you are targeting squishies (and you should) use basic attacks, once you see they have half of their health (This should be the case after landing all of your 3 basic attacks on a squishy target)Second Step: you will use your counter if you are taking some damage to reflect some back at themThird Step: at this point, you have probably dealt about 2000 dmg at them so you will use whirl at them to kill them and if there are no more enemies at your surroundings you just walk your way to the next target, if there are other enemies you billow your way out, at this point your counter should be up again, use it to get some health back.Fighting TanksYou want to prioritize tanks only under 2 circumstances:- The enemy healer is dead, basic attack him in case you can kill, if not ult right away- Your Ultimate is up: One shot that fat assGuillotine
Spite
Spite deals 20% of its target's maximum Health with each hit.

Level 3
Haven
Armor
Reduce the Damage you take from Direct and Area of Effect attacks by 18%.
Level 3
Morale Boost
Armor
Increase your Ultimate charge rate by 30%.
Level 3
- Illuminate (In case your are going invisible enemies)
- Resiliance (In case the other team has a lot of cripple or CC which is Zhin's weakpoint)
- Master Riding for Ice Mines
- Wrecker in case you are facing a vivian or there is a torvald
Please note that you can rush any of these items as second or third in case it's needed, but the item you wanna rush first almost all the time is Cauterize, there is no point in flanking squishies if they will get their HP back in 2 seconds.
You Always wanna run guillotine, you dont want to gamble that 50/50 chance of ulting your target and dont killing him so, you just wanna take the easy path and insta kill your matchup, plus with morale boost and because of the nature of this talent, if you perform good, poke enough and do good damage, you should be able to get your ult every 2 minutes.
Remember to always use your ult, don't save it unless you know you wont be able to push or that you might need it for next round capture. You get a lot of value from it so you should always see it as an additional ability.

You really want that counter Health Back, it can be a life-saving thing in case you are 10 HP and you get to block even a shot from a Barik turret or a shot from Luna, it will get you 500 Hp back.
Fan the flames is vital because it's your get away from danger ability, and getting it back up after winning a fight can save you enough time to get HP Back and target someone else instead of having to respawn.
The other cards fit very well the type of playstyle that comes with zhin, having good mobility and great distancing can keep you in and out of fights pretty easily, which is key for him since he doesn't have verticality.
