The Real Force off Raum : Raum is a champion that you want to play agressive and diving the enemy backline, so abuse that, go on the enemy backline and create space for your team to play around you, that is the real force off Raum, force the enemy team to react to you and free your team to play around the scene and if you will die, just run away to survive, that is the right way to create space whit Raum, remember that Raum is one off the best tanks in the game to force enemy damage space especially when you are will fight against one sniper off the game.
Raum Main Weakness : The secret to counter Raum is be attentive to Raum uses of "F", when Raum use "F" to run for survive you have to use one of your skill to cancel "F
Secondary Weakness : Some champions can get a lot of ultimate when attacking Raum because of her HP, and this a lot of problem when these ultimates kill's Raum regardless his HP

There is my main loadout, use this to get resistence when fighting damages and uses "Q" to reset "F" cooldown.
It's really sad when you play with counters, but that will happen sometime and you have some ideas to aplly in your deck when you confront those situations.
1° Idea : Retire the cooldown reduction of Q.
2° Idea : Retire the run distance.
I don't like to much the 2° idea because when you can run this will make a lot off difference, think your counter don't will be alive all time and this is the moment to run away and shine.

Cauterize obviously is a good item but Raum needs more to build Chronos and Heaven to play well and in macthes that you need to buy resilience is praticaly impossible to buy Cauterize because the price is too high and the effectiveness is not so good with Raum, remember Cauterize applies only in the weapon.

A lot off people when starts to play with Raum buys Life Rip and Morale Boost and that's definitelly is not so impactfull as you imagined.
Raum Great Force : Raum is one of the bests champions to fight against backline damages(especially snipers) or champions with a great head(because it's easy do headshots), abusing of "F" to move in enemy backline and creating a lot of space for your team.
BK : A lot of people will say that BK is a Raum counter(this happens a lot in my server), but for Raum it's easy to fight, because it's easy do to headshots against BK, Raum ultimate counters the BK ultimate and if BK goes with "Chain Reaction" you will have two damage reduction cards in your deck to use when BK try to burst you.
Makoa : You have the weapon advantage against Makoa, so force Makoa to stepback in your presence and be sure that Makoa doens't have the hook to stop your run or run in the start off the duel to make him hook you for your teammate be free to play or for yourself to refresh the cooldown first than Makoa and bee free to run, but don't think it will be easy because Makoa probably will counter you sometimes but you have ways to force the Makoa ultimate and have advantage in 1v1 to create pressure.
Heavy Counters : Khan, Torvald, Atlas, Sha lin, Tyra, Jenos, Grover and Mal'Damba. If the enemy team has one of those champions it will be hard to play because they all have one way or more to cancel your run.
Good Counters : The champions in that list counters you with some CC but nothing so frequently in match or counters you with the ultimate or with a lot off damage based on Raum HP. All champions in this tier you can play against, but whill be harder to play, you whill depend more off your team.
