Currently diamond 4 climbing to master, my views on Zhin's kit.

Yomi is by far Zhin's best talent and should be used in almost every scenario when solo queuing. Zhin is an amazing flank but hes definitely not the best so do expect to put in a little bit of work to get used to his sword swings and movement options around your opponent.

He is the best duelist in the game rivaled only by VII and his insanely high burst damage. Zhin is in-between burst and sustain damage as he can kill most low health targets in three basic attacks and a whirl while also being able to dish out decently high damage to tanks and semi tanky targets. Hes a great pick if you aren't as confidant in your ability to land a full mag dump from VII or land your full damage direct shots with Evie due to how big his basic attack projectiles are.

Overall I view him as a solid B rank Flank. Hes not the best flank in any category besides maybe duels but even then hes beat by Current VII. Hes a solid all rounder but do consider picking up some stronger picks if you feel confidant in your aim and movement. After getting the hang of Zhin, I'd recommend you pick up VII, Vora, or Androxus as they offer more flexibility in their play style (or in VII's case damage).

In and Out Flank
Build Section
Notes

Mainly used for getting one to two kills before leaving to regroup and heal with team before being over ran. This can be used with pretty much any support as the cool-down on Billow, Counter, and Whirl are all extremely low to allow easy access to both your and the enemy teams back line. This is a basic build for when you aren't queued with a duo support main or when not used with a Corvus.

Notes

The only item that's necessary for Zhin at the start is Nimble. The added movement speed is insane for Zhins mobility and greatly aid his flanking abilities. Kill to heal isn't needed with a good support but its a nice item to have. Illuminate is obvious for certain characters. Wrecker should only be bought against Furia, Grover, Torvold, and (in minor cases depending on cards) Vora. After nimble 3 items are at your discretion since Zhin is already so versatile.

Level 3

Notes

This build is for when you have a good support to allow you to stay in the enemy back line and deal as much damage as you possibly can to create openings for your tank to cap point and for your damages to push up and stop the enemy team from reaching the objective. This does require you to pretty much have a pocket but that should be fine since you'll have the damage and the support to maintain the 1v3 or 1v4 status without issue.

Matchups
Champion Section
Strong Against
LillithIoJenosBomb KingTiberius
Notes

These champions lack any real mobility to get away from Zhin in a way that would prevent him from reaching him anyways. I'm avoiding the champions not used such as Skye, Moji, and Talus. Zhin has a favorable match up against most champions, these are just the ones that stood out to me.

Weak Against
DredgeBetty la BombaTorvaldKogaKinessaMal'DambaDrogozEvieVII
Notes

These characters either have fast and effective escape tools like Dredge and Betty, out damage you like Koga and VII, or disable you like with Torvold or Mal'Damba. Try and pick a different champ if you see more then one of these champs or for really bad ones like Evie or VII, just outright ban them if given the chance.
