So she has the legendaries Exaction, Impulse, and Big game. None of them are terrible, but they all have different uses and build strengths.

Exaction is great for a flank Cassie because it is easiest to build mobility into a deck focused on dodge roll. This legendary however has the lowest damage potential(higher on single targets than impulse, but lower when against groups) and is midrange on ease of use, requiring decent aim to get full benefit

Impulse is probably the best over all for the average player; it is the easiest to use, it has the most sustain in its deck, and it is midrange of the damage potentials. This legendary gets good use of its cards due to the aoe of blast shot, thus making it require the least amount of aim to take advantage, while also diversifying damage types.

Big Game has the highest damage potential of all the legendaries, is often the hardest to use, and its builds are more limited in the fact that one must prioritize utility escape, or self sustain. It's greatest benefits are how easily it deals with high health opponents like tanks and even Imani's ult. However even against single smaller targets this legendary has and advantage over impulse. Impulse adds 150 raw damage to each blast shot which against a single target could be triggered a maximum of once every 5.5 seconds. Understanding that the lowest health character has 1800 hitpoints and that big game adds 10% of their maximum health to each shot for the next six seconds at which point Cassie shoots every .75 seconds giving one a maximum of 8 shots in that time period; that comes out to a maximum additional damage output in that situation being 8 x 180 =1440 extra potential damage in six seconds vice the 300 in the same six given by impulse.


One thing to keep in mind while playing Cassie is that her per second dps is lower than that of many champions, but she has great burst potential, decent utility, and good mobility. Using that to your advantage and learning how to duel other champions with Cassie is key to being a good damage with her. She is more of a duelist and precision champion than a suppression fire constant damage champ. She often can be played as a combination between a flank and a standard damage due to this.

I usually play the first loadout as Cassie and build either cauterize(primary) or wrecker initially in game then build chronos for the reduction on disengage and dodge roll.
