Free Agent - NA

hi, im chlodoodlez, or chloe, i am a lvl 60+ rei main and a digital artist, i wanted to make this for people who wanted to get started on rei with some basic loadouts and item choices! this is my first time doing something like this.

build list
Build Section
Notes

magic in the blood - this card is very useful for playing rei as a healer, the stacking effect of this card can be very useful for the cool down of your chain heal, as it is your main source of healing allies. try to stay safe near your back line and mainly hit the enemy tank with your sigils.

refreshing break - i recommend using this card for most of your rei builds, the extra ultimate charge is very useful for your team, especially if you have game changing ultimates. i recommend maxing this card out, or at the least keep it to 3 points.

spring to action - when playing as a main healer, this card can be decent for sustaining your tanks while you chain heal your squishier allies, but don't be afraid to attach your link to someone else if they are being focused.

future generations - since chain heal has a longer cool down than some heal abilities, the cool down refund can be a very nice addition.

leipori prayer - this card is mostly just a filler card, it can help your allies deal more damage quicker, and it is especially useful for allies who have longer reload animations. feel free to swap this card out with something else if you don't find this useful. i recommend enveloping magic, arcane maelstrom, or deft magics.

Notes

rest and relaxation - this card is helpful when playing as a damage, since rei has good 1v1 potential, the extra ammo can be useful so you have more shots in case you tend to miss a lot.

midnight stroll - this is a pretty essential card to damage rei, since your focus is to 1v1 enemies, the damage reduction you put onto them with spirit link can help you stay alive during 1v1s longer.

threat and subject - the extra movement speed after an elimination can help rei a lot when trying to make a quick escape after a kill, you can also combo this with envelop.

Notes

chronos, nimble, haven, and cauterize are my standard item choices. i aim to max out chronos first.

resilience will be very useful into teams with a lot of cc.

illuminate will be useful into champions who turn invisible, especially against someone like skye, who will most likely try to ambush you.

morale boost and master riding can be situational, morale boost is useful if you need to use vivify often, and master riding will help with getting to objectives and allies faster after respawning or starting the round.
