Should be said that before latest imani buff she was already a good damager with complicated rather than bad mechanics which caused her being ( a̶n̶t̶i̶-̶n̶p̶c̶) unpopular in the past.
Now that her fireball is overpowered while basekit is good a̶ ̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶b̶o̶t̶s̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶y̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ the core of her build would be to make her more self-sustainable which let's her spend less time on respawn win duels and decently flank (l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶'̶s̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶g̶o̶n̶n̶a̶ ̶b̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶̶a̶n̶y̶w̶a̶y̶).

• mana is calculated by dealt damage so bulldozer issues both extra damage and mana gained (tbh just left click enemy champion they will die without tricks)
Most self-sustainable tanks ignore Imani's splash damage alongside her burst (like she's not gonna overdamage whole lobby anyway). On the other end ones with enough mobility and crowd-control abilities that cancel her Frost Glide are able to actually take her down (works sometimes.. kinda)
Unlucky matchups among the flanks for t̶h̶e̶m̶s̶e̶l̶v̶e̶s̶ imani are those with both good vertical and horizontal mobility t̶o̶ ̶r̶u̶n̶ ̶f̶a̶s̶t̶e̶r̶; DR provided by abilities is another great counter to burst (hopefully)
