Explanations unfinished - will update if can.

This list would be based on versatility NOT power - My rankings are based on about 100 games since my return to Season 3 after Tiberius' release. These are not to be taken as fact, but more an opinion. To clarify Versatility = / = strong - All because your favorite champion can do a 4k damage burst while under specific situations does not make them versatile, what i define as versatile as someone who can be brought into many situations and do a decent job if you show competence using said

Feel free to check my profile if you feel i have any bias'. Do know i am a flex and while i hold healers in high regards, their utility is naturally higher due to having abilities to heal, and the nature of being able to damage at the same time.

ss

Can fill ALL roles or more then 2 roles at once.

I personally feel that there is not any champions which can fill a damage, tank and support role at once, however, when Corvus comes out, i have reason to believe he could work as a flank, damage and a healer.

s+

Skye Skye
Seris Seris
Furia Furia
Jenos Jenos
Can fill some roles which are not their base, or can fill 2 different roles simultaneously. Safe to choose in casual and stand a fair chance.

Skye - She can heal for an insane amount while due to the nature of her kit, allowing her to still pump out massive damage. With the recent changes to caut, people have been feeling much more safe using "healthy" champions like raum, but Skye does an amazing job at dealing with them while being able to heal her entire team and provide them with buffs even a specialized main healer cannot (+movespeed, +ammo, +large heal / sec)

Seris - While some people may not see her as versatility, i do believe she has a rank among a tanky healer class. I am aware that she is relatively similar to Grover in this department, but the main thing which makes me put Seris a rank higher, is due to her escape ability making her immune to damage, alongside with a bulky heal that even caut could not stop if stacked enough, and the ability to increase her damage output. (from what i have played of a tanky Seris, you can sit at a comfortable 3,000 hp and still be able to effectively heal your team)

Furia / Jenos - I group these two together as they both serve as a very strong healer in regards to damage. While in the current PTS Furia would definitely be S- at best due to her changes to her wrath, but as of writing this, her current damage output alongside her healing potential makes her an excellent choice for a high damage team. As with Jenos, him having a high damaging ult, alongside being able to constantly buff his teams damage while also being able to put out respectable damage keeps him in this tier.

Pip Pip
Mal'Damba Mal'Damba
Maeve Maeve
Willo Willo
Grover Grover
Talus Talus
Grohk Grohk
Viktor Viktor
Tyra Tyra
Dredge Dredge
Inara Inara
Terminus Terminus
Tiberius Tiberius
Characters which do their role VERY well, or can be used as a mix between two roles (but not simultaneously)

Pip - Can fill both a flanking and a healing role. He provides enough healing to prove as a decent character to dive with.

Mal'Damba - Has from my understanding the highest healing output in the game currently (maybe tied with grohk?). Just from how he plays, you can fill a tanks health bar in a short moment. Works well even against caut, and with his new buffs coming, he will for sure even better to play.

Maeve - I wont lie, i really do not like Maeve, but i can respect her position as a flank and how well she does her role. High damage output with a way to kill low health targets with a high burst included makes her a saught after champion. She also has Genji-Blade Syndrome. (for the uninitiated, a character people seem to gravitate towards to be viewed as a skilled player. Clarification: I am not claiming you do not have skill for using said champion, i just meet a LOT of people who flex over their skill)

Willow - With the changes to caut, even a toddler shoving a deadzone down every 2 mins can still make a HUGE difference. The single ability of deadzone puts her in this rank, her utility as a flank is recognized though.

Grover - Identical to Seris in how he can be tanky, provide great healing while also dishing out a decent amount of damage. The one thing holding him back is his ults utility alongside the vulnerability of his larger hitbox as well as exposed escape ability.

Talus - His insanely high damage output alongside his utility being rather strong and a get-out-of-jail free card at times brings him to this level defautly. Pre-patches, talus was equally as a menace now, as while he had a shorter dropoff range making him a lot more tedious to play, being able to hit an entire team with a blitz-upper was not something to just ignore.

Grohk - While he is admittedly much weaker due to the removal of his CC - Immunity talent, he was also shifted to become a more mobile healer. With the addition of an additional totem charge (and now a third thanks to the new talent (Which stack healing btw!)) it has made him much more versatile, however even pre-patch he would still likely be in S tier due to how his healing is tedious at best.

Vitktor - 40% lifesteal + 300hp/s while sprinting? Need i say more? With the caut changes, Viktor can almost carry due to his self-heal, and his high damage output makes him a force to be reckoned with. Vitkor quite literally does not need a healer, but if he happens to have a trustable healer, he can trade out cardio for either a grenade spam build, or a burst fire build, which both substantially increase his dps.

Tyra - Along with her passive lifesteal being indirectly buffed by the caut changes, tyra has always been a great damage dealer. Being able to melt tanks and squishies from her high damage and her firebomb. Her damage is too strong to pass up in a meta where healers just became significantly stronger.

Dredge - Same thing applies to Dredge as it did with Tyra and Viktor - With the recent caut changes, Dredges self-sustain was indirectly buffed, to where he can become relatively tanky (at points reaching 2850 hp with overshields and a perpetual 250hp /s heal). Dredge is only barely in S tier due to his high damage and point control, if this tier list was directly for TDM, i would actually have to put him in A tier just due to the nature of the champion.

Inara - A tank who not only can reduce damage taken by 50%, but also be able to increase the healing she receives? Sign her up. I personally do not play Inara, and do not enjoy her playstyle, but id be lying if i said that she was never not intimidating to fight with her earthen guard up.

Terminus - Due to the card changes he received, hes been more suited for a main tank role, and being able to rush and synergies well with furia, almost makes him an S+, but due to his limited range, he has been limited to just S rank for now.

Tiberius - Just due to his very high damage output alongside his strong zoning capabilities accompanied by a decent mobility skill makes him just shy of an S+. The only thing he really lacks is self sustain, as while he can indeed heal himself a relatively large amount, in comparison to others, he falls a little short, and therefore can be whittled down.

Characters who do their role at a decent level, or are easy enough to use to be useful by anyone spamming their controller / keyboard.

Strix / Kinessa / Drogoz / Vivian / Sha-lin / Lian / Cassie / Bomb King - All these champions doe their role well, high damage, but with limited mobility, to where if any flank with any two mobility skills can chase and kill these people. While Drogoz has more versatility then say Strix does, the utility of the invisibility makes up for the flight which Drogoz possesses'.
