Atlas Atlas
Makoa Makoa
Torvald Torvald
Imani Imani

Mandatory First Picks

Most commonly banned champions, and for good reason too.

Atlas: Very high sustain, can contest long range and airborne champions with ease. Shield is indestructable and can speed boost. Can send multiple players back in time with Deja Vu. Very annoying to deal with if there is a competent healer. Ultimate renders up to three people useless, or 2 ( 1 useless for 8 seconds instead of 4 ).

Makoa: Can single handedly contest the point with Ultimate. Leviathan makes it stronger.Hook sets up easy kills for himself and teammates. Can ring out enemies without fast movement abilities. Shield can stop airborne attacks easily and has decent coverage. Rarely runs out of ammo with the right card in loadout.

Torvald: Shield is a pain in the ass even with wrecker. Can essentially shield the same player forever with Thanks Grandpa. Field Study gives 30% damage boost. Ultimate is very obnoxious to deal with on certain maps like Fishmarket. - Don't stay grouped up here. (Imagine being banned for one ability alone.)

Imani: Insane damage with Splitting Ice and easy kills with Frost Bomb. In practice, not as busted as other DPS, but she's usually banned because no one wants to deal with her Ultimate. On maps like Fish Market, it's basically a free win. Dragon isn't a problem if someone picks Drogoz or another bursty champion that buys Bulldozer.

s+

Lian Lian
Cassie Cassie
Khan Khan

Very safe picks.

Not banned as frequently as SS Tier, but annoying to deal with when paired with uncoordinated teammates. Usually banned on maps with long sight ranges.

Lian : High Burst. Frequent Ult if used properly. Even after nerf, a kill confirmed by Prescence can reset it completely. With the right deck, one kill can reset all abilities. Easy 1200+ damage at long range. Abilities do not consume ammo, letting you finish players instead of reloading.

Cassie: Roll is annoying. Reveal is annoying. Lots of health return cards. Fast projectiles. High burst. Can boop enemies. Big Game melts tanks. Impulse just gives more damage and lowers a cooldown. Overall just very unfun to play against - arguably moreso than Lian, thanks to reveals and boops.

Khan: Would be SS Tier but grab bugs and inconsistency of ultimate keep him a tier lower.

Battleshout completely negates damage and heals you and surrounding teammates. Battleshout can be also used to restore ammunition. Commander's Grab is an instant 600 attack when it connects, letting you finish off players without throwing them. With Vortex Grip, it even stuns them for two seconds additionally. Very strong early game when no one buys resilience. Commander's grab can also double as a movement / escape ability. Decent primary weapon, letting him fight airborne enemies easier than other tanks. Storm of Bullets lets him deal with them faster. Bulwark can be used at will unlike Fernando, and can self heal and increase healing received by others. Ultimate is almost a guaranteed kill when used properly.

Barik Barik
Inara Inara
Terminus Terminus
Ash Ash

Great First Picks (Minus Terminus - I'd advise waiting until he's in a better state) If SS Tanks or Khan is Banned/Taken. Plan accordingly.

Barik: Would be S+ tier if his turrets did a bit more and his Ultimate didn't disappear on death.

Recent buffs helped him out a lot. Insane point presence. Rocket boots are crazy good with shielding. Paired with a large amount of healing, he can be very hard to deal with. Turrets aren't much of a problem, but can be a nuisance at low health or when one is placed somewhere near the backline of the team, annoying flanking players. Ultimate can force players to move but it's still not the best. Goes away when he dies, and it's usually used as a last resort for some reason.

Inara: Wall can block off paths completely and very rarely is broken by damage. Very, very high sustain with a healer. Can completely cripple flanks as well as other tanks with movement abilities like Barik. Primary fire isn't the best but it's useable. Ultimate goes through shields and is really strong early game when resilience isn't bought right away.

Terminus: Would be S+ Tier, but riddled with bugs frequently.

Shield (Syphon) cannot be negated or broken through. Can heal and increase speed, and receive damage reduction through Syphon. Primary fire can apply good amount of pressure at low health. Calamity Blast can be used to finish off fleeing enemies, both airborne and on ground. Shatterfall slows enemies and lets him overall move around more. Increasing distance by 10% with card is a huge difference. Ultimate is a resurrect that can also kill enemies (when it works properly). Ultimate always keeps enemies on their toes.

Ash: Would be S+ if her Shoulder Bash didn't hit enemies behind her.

Strong point prescence and high sustain with 50% life rip in early game. AOE damage on primary fire lets her pressure players around corners and in the air easier than others. Shield has nice angle of coverage, and with Fortress Breaker, it rarely goes down from damage. Shoulder Bash and Kinetic burst can be comboed and both boop. Battering Ram increases survival overall when using Shoulder Bash. Ultimate is a nice Stun and keeps her alive in hairy situations, but she can be moved out of the radius easily.

s-

Seris Seris
Evie Evie
Mal'Damba Mal'Damba
Bomb King Bomb King

Don't let the enemy team grab them. (Maybe hold off on Evie until you see the enemy comp.)

Seris: Would be S Tier if Rend Soul stun was built in.

Incredible multi user healing, very powerful early game - struggles in late. If Cauterize isn't purchased by most of the team, expect to lose. Necessary for 2 Tank composition. Primary fire large projectiles and huge Paladins hitboxes make landing shots easy. Projectiles also travel through opponents, and can block vision on ground level. Can kill enemies without even being in line of sight with Rend Soul, and has built in life rip. Completely invulnerable and invisible during Shadow Travel, and can heal during - can be cancelled at any moment, and completely reloads her weapon( It's a better Billow ). Ultimate sets up easy kills and has quick activation. Can heal or damage during Ultimate use. Ultimate can also pull enemies off stages and out of cover.

Evie: Would be S Tier if Ice Block healed without use of cards.

Low health, but smaller hitbox than most, and extremely mobile. Lots of ways to recover health through use of abilities, and easy cooldown resets. High burst damage, low reload time, and fast ultimate charge gain (6% despite how far away the blast hits an enemy) Ice Block by default does not heal, and usually results in death unless there is a teammate nearby to help. Ultimate is useful, and can be used frequently with Snow Globe, meaning lots of CC. Wormhole is really good with health restoring cards, but can be predictable. Usually an Evie with Wormhole will return to where they initially blinked from, so expect to turn back around (or better yet, fake a turn around).

Maldamba: Cute Snek.

Bomb King : Would be S Tier or higher if Ultimate wind up time was decreased AT ALL.

Great damage, frequent stuns, and annoying boops. Ultimate has large wind up time but if used properly can wipe almost an entire team even if the explosion didn't kill them thanks to the built in stun. An accurate Bomb King is SCARY.

a+

Jenos Jenos
Tyra Tyra

Get Jenos if Seris is taken, no question. Late game she won't be able to outheal Luminary Damage buff. Take Tyra if Cassie/Lian are banned/taken. Play safe with your Frontlines - you have no mobility.

Jenos: Would be S- Tier if Astral Mark had higher heals per second.

Luminary provides 15% damage buff to teammates being healed, which is always nice, especially in late game, but requires your team to make effective use of it. Healing is almost non existant in late game. Decent 300 burst heal but takes too long to heal teammates in early game even with Caut 1. Can heal through walls and can only heal multiple teammates use of cards that lower cooldown, leaving to other possible builds being less effective. Best used in teams with high bursty DPS champions. Not as good as Seris for 2 Tank, but can definitely work for 2 Tank if Torvald is chosen. Damage boosts stack. Stellar Wind is basically always on cooldown and is a nice escape option but it doesn't make him invincible. Lower fall speed and higher jump height can lead to deaths if you aren't careful when retreating. Void grip is great with the reset build and Power Cosmeum, but subpar without it. Careful timing is required when using it - use it too early in a team fight and you may not be able to use it to help you escape a flanking enemy. Without Power Cosmeum, the enemy can escape easily. Ultimate can kill most non tanks but can be difficult to land at times. Primary fire is really good and can poke/ demount at long range.

Tyra: Would be S- Tier or higher if she had build in mobility outside of ultimate or firebomb didn't damage her.

Hunter's Mark with Hunting Party is a pain in the ass. Always available wallhacks and any enemy hit with a mark also receives 25% bonus damage. Accurate hitscan and burst damage through primary fire and grenade launcher. Built in Life rip which is always welcomed in early game. Grenade's projectile drop was removed a while back, which makes hitting them at longer ranges easier. Firebomb has built in 50% cauterize and can block chokes and contest points. Ultimate can break shields easily and is useful for finishing off stragglers. Can also be used to run away, but if you're going to do that, you might as well shoot at the enemy while doing so - built in Life Rip + 40% increased Fire Rate = Health.

a

Grover Grover
Viktor Viktor
Zhin Zhin
Kinessa Kinessa
Grohk Grohk

Pick them if you can't play anyone in higher tiers, but don't be surprised if you are underperforming.

Grover: Would be A+ or higher if he was invincible during ultimate /primary fire spammy playstyle didn't contrast with close range healing / Vine crash was fixed / had no mid-air innacuracy.

Great pressure at long range, rising to 750 damage, and has no ammo (Spam away). Passive healing is okay, but has the highest burst healing at 900. Even better with Rampant Blooming. Also applies to himself. Vine lets him get into advantageous positions for long range pressure, and helps him escape danger (somewhat). Can also relocate to a friendly player. Crippling Throw cripples, which is good, and can be used on multiple opponents with Deep Roots. Ultimate heals for 2500 per second over 4 seconds, but does not effect invisible teammates. Despite extreme high healing output, cauterize can mess him up. He's not invincible during it, so be careful.

Viktor: Would be A+ or higher if Cardio was part of base kit (even if nerfed)

Decent mid range damage with a high amount of ammo. Grenades let him deal damage from any angle, and act as mini reveals. Hustle let's him move around quickly , letting him create crossfire and even flank in some cases with ease. Cardio with Damage Reduction early game is asinine, but is laughable during mid to end game. Ultimate provides decent damage, and returns ult charge for unused strikes. Has more survivability than Tyra, but is lower because of her Hunting Party Talent.

Zhin: Would be A+ or higher if Billow was cancellable/ Yomi healing was added to base kit (even if nerfed)

Quick burst damage with primary fire - and with Yomi, you can attack from long range. Whirlwind doubles as an escape option , and can be animation cancelled from third primary strike, confirming kills easier. Billow after the nerf is mediocre at best, but still is another escape option. Counter blocks most attacks, but cannot be cancelled. Stops melee attacks as well. Ultimate is decent, with Guillotine guarantees kills and prevents damage while in use. Also charges faster. Most professionals use it as a movement ability because it's omnidirectional dash.

Kinessa:

Grohk:

a-

Furia Furia
Strix Strix
Ruckus Ruckus

Same as above - Pick them if you can't play anyone in a higher tier. Highly advised against though.

Furia: Would be A Tier or Higher if players would stand inside her beam / Wings of Wrath turns omnidirectional

A great DPS/Healing hybrid that falls short of other supports due to mediocre healing outside of Pyre Strike with Solar Blessing. Deals good damage at medium range, and can do even more the more she heals. Kindle Soul provides decent burst healing and can apply shield as when built properly, but is very inconsistent due to auto locking issues. Wings of Wrath isn't a very good escape ability, but it does do damage and can home in on mounted players as well.

Pyre Strike is a great ability, and with a smart team can provide more healing than any other champion per second, but is inconsistent due to lack of approaching notification or speed /prediction of either player. If used with Solar Blessing, it can also miss an enemy target you intend to stun if someone ever so slightly comes into contact with it. Constant Pyre Strike use while using Solar Blessing also leaves her vulnerable to flankers. Ultimate turns her invincible for a few seconds and increases teams attack speed and movement speed by 30%, but does not heal. Not a very good ultimate to use as a last resort. Best used when trying to confirm a capture.

Strix: Annoying to deal with at long range due to invisibility, annoying to flank because of pistol rate of fire. Very likely to be banned on Sawmill like Kinessa. Hard to contest unless you have a sniper yourself or a long range bursty champion like Lian or Cassie that can reliably land shots. Flare bug still exists. Usually never has to reload due to ammo generation card. Can either be really good or really bad. If really good, prioritize his death first. Can easily carry a match if uncontested. More commonly picked than Kinessa despite being a bit worse. Probably because he's an edgy dude.

b

Fernando Fernando
Drogoz Drogoz
Androxus Androxus
Sha Lin Sha Lin
Vivian Vivian
Buck Buck
Maeve Maeve

Weak , Niche, or Inconsistent Champions. Generally not fun to be on a team with. Can work, but highly unlikely they will.

Fernando:

Placeholder Text for now : He may be the worst tank but he's definitely not the worst champion. Unsure of how he can rise in the tier list - he's a mess right now.

Drogoz:

Irritating as shit to play against when abusing the roofs, but generally not a threat outside of close range areas or ulting. Will completely be shutdown by any long range hitscan champion. Only reasons why he isn't lower is because he can 1 shot anyone including Imani's dragon, and because of his high mobility.

Buck: Could Easily Reach A Tier if his rate of fire was increased. The extra bullet was not the correct buff in my opinion.

Androxus: Currently the dash bug keeps him from A- tier. Reversal has bugs too.

Not as obnoxious as he used to be, but still can be annoying. Bloom on primary fire even at close range leads to missed shots. Reversal is strong against unsuspecting players that blindly fire around corners. Ultimate is sub par at best - he deals good damage but is very vulnerable in the air due to slow movement and bright glowing aura.

S(t)a-Lin:

Good burst / hold time ratio on primary fire, but does less damage than Imani in roughly the same time or more. Impaler arrow stuns but may not always stun. Planted is good with wrecker against shields but makes him very vulnerable because he's locked in place. Withdraw is useable at long to medium range and in early game but that's it. Illuminate absolutely destroys him. Ultimate against illuminate is garbage. Best to play him at longer distances.

Vivian:

If left uncontested, can just shred through the enemy team. Easy to counter when flanking. If caught in front of her, aim for her feet - the shield doesn't guard them.

Maeve:

Tiny and mobile, but easily killable. Only reason why she isn't lower is because pounce pierces shields, Ultimate blocks vision (which is arguably the most important thing in an FPS) and she can easily take out tanks with Street Justice.

c

Ying Ying
Dredge Dredge
Talus Talus
Skye Skye

Try to avoid picking them whenever possible.

Ying: Would be higher if she had some sort of utility outside of just healing. Ultimate is decent because of map wide healing, but heals less than Solar Blessing Furia.

No question the worst healer.

Dredge:

Much easier to handle after Heave Away nerf. Can still be a pain in the ass if undealt with. Will most likely just spam the control point or payload. Good against 3 Tanks I guess? Still pretty bad though.

Talus:

The better Moji.

Skye:

Debilitate is a pain in the ass early match for unsuspecting tanks but manageable after that. Illuminate absolutely deletes her existance. Only reason she's not D Tier is because her ultimate gets people off the point/payload , has far reach, and it goes through shields.

d

Koga Koga
Moji Moji
Lex Lex
Willo Willo
Pip Pip

You're literally throwing.

(Pip is undecided right now. Definitely not D tier for sure. Calm your nipples, you furries.)

Koga:

Just stop.

Moji:

Only redeeming part of kit is her extremely low cooldown shield that heals when in use, and heals when is hit.

Lex:

The only acceptable time to play him is when you want to meme on both teams as Surfer Lex.

Willow:

Deadzone is a bitch, but other than that AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PRESS E TO DIE
