Hello, we'll keep this quick.
This tierlist is based on each champions individual strength and their ability to synergize with a large majority of other champions. It is important to understand that certain champions that perform well against inexperienced or unskilled players may not get the same results when pitched against experienced players. Champions such as Moji and Zhin for example can be incredibly strong at low elo, whereas against better players their individual performance will decrease dramatically; the opposite of this can also be true, for example, an unskilled player would come to the conclusion that Jenos is sub-par due to the healing output of other supports in the early game such as Seris- when in reality Jenos is the strongest support champion due to the Luminary buff, strong isolation crowd control in the form of his Void Grip and his ability to heal through walls across long distances.
The entire purpose of this tierlist is to assist new or returning players in understanding which champions to ban or pick in ranked Paladins matches, as well as a quick and easy way for anyone to see which champions they should be practicing in casuals for ranked due to their strength.
Practice the champions that are strong in the current meta against good players if you want to see yourself succeed in ranked.
Keep in mind that this is a general tierlist meaning that certain comps and maps may sway the way that this list looks.
Please note that the meta is subject to change in future patches.
ss
Priority Ban in most ranked matchups. Immensely strong champions that can give your team an incredible advantage over the other simply because of their current kits.
s+
Top Tier Picks, worth picking up early in the draft then building around them.
s
Strong and Competitive Champions, providing that the player is competent these champions are a force to be reckoned with in ranked and should be prioritized over weaker champions;
s-
Can be strong depending on the enemy teams comp, but they're usually solid picks, better to draft these champions later in the draft due to how easily some of them can be countered, obviously these champions are stronger in some maps moreso than others and can excel in a lot of situations.
a+
Potentially draftable if your team builds their comp around these champions or bans result in these options being open. These champions are situational either as counter-picks or if your team is building specifically to work around these picks.
a
High skill ceiling with a high reward providing that the player is adept these picks can be justified.
a-
Rarely influential in higher elo matches, however still have potential to outplay opponents depending on their comp and the bans.
b
Extremely situational, useful if an individual is particularly skilled at this champion it can work if your team is prepared to work with it. Do not pick these champions high in the draft unless that is specifically your teams plan.
c
Only strong against bads
dont pick these idc
d
Only LATAM shitters use these, don't be one of them.
