The purpose is to show player skill levels relative to other players, not estimate MMR.

Reduce the Cooldown of Thrust by 3.5999999999999996s for each enemy hit with Fire Spit.

Damage dealt when hitting an enemy directly with Rocket Launcher or Salvo is increased by 25%.
