I made a prediction list for after yago was released I forgot to put her on there, sorry, however now that it's been a month I think i've seen enough to take a crack at where the current meta is sitting. reviewing where I got characters wrong. Prediction list can be found here: Season 4 predictions - Tierlist - PaladinsGuru

Characters were done in alphabetical order so I may of missed one or two detail when comparing them since when comparing sometimes I miss someone when I haven't listed them yet. If you see this before it's complete it's likely due to me saving it in between a few entries so if it crashes I won't lose progress.

Tier 0, the if u have them u win, no one really fits this category, so no one will be here.

Barik Barik
Corvus Corvus

High Tier 1: Always good picks on near every map and near any team comp a very good ban in basically all scenarios.

Barik: One char I was definitely way off in his performance was the dwarf himself. He out performed by far what I expected. Becoming basically THE priority character of either he is banned or picked, and being hard to counter play and just owning all other point tanks in the game, he is the best. He works with basically any team comp and on near any map. Other maps that are in his favor only boosting his effectiveness. As he says no one moves a Dwarf of the point... or anywhere else for that matter as he is also a good off tank and lane control character. He also can zone extremely well. There is almost no limit to what this dwarf can do and it only seems to get stronger with each passing day.

Corvus: I know this may still be a controversial pick given other healer's performances, but hear me out. I still will strongly stand by no other healer, can bring any where near the power he does. He heals still better than any healer in game, outside of very very specific team comps set up to favor them, but if a team comp is set up to favor corvus it breaks him to the point of honestly, tier 0 status. I don't put him there because it takes a lot of team coordination and a lot of planning, but if it's done right, anything any other healer in this game can do, corv can do it better outside of very niche circumstances like Jenos damage buff, or stacking point with a seris or damba. His dark gifts talent is amazing for pocket, his stun talent, as expected after it's buff, is way off the charts in damage potential, and his spreading influence nerf, as much as it did, only really hurts unorganized comps. Any team that knows how to abuse this character and all his healing stacks that won't take diminish returns, will basically be a never dying team. Only not working with Yago, due to a bug when she is caut 3 where she doesn't get the actual ticks but gets the final tick of the heal unless healing another marked target so she gets the 2nd heal (ik it's wierd).

Atlas Atlas
Bomb King Bomb King

Tier 1: Similar to high but just not quite cutting it for one reason or another but usually still banworthy if you're worried of their potential or the map makes them even more scary.

Atlas: Hard to say if he is at mid or high Tier 1. I've seen him dominate still, both as a point and as a off. More so as an off since Barik still exists and is running around off the charts. But his point game is still, pun not intended, on point. He can control a point very well, better than most, and even tho he is countered by resil like other tanks or other chars, the amount of CC he packs and the way it removes ppl from the game for a few seconds is still very valid even when fighting against resil 3.

Bomb King: I had him way lower expecting the huge shielding to really impact his effectiveness since he can't just stick people who are shielded. However, he has surpassed the expectations as well. I've seen him work well on a ton of maps, most effectively on close ones as expected, but even still on longer maps still managing to put up a very good performance. Well played BK... well played.

Androxus Androxus
Buck Buck
Cassie Cassie

Low tier 1: More situational than tier 1 or high tier 1, but better than high tier 2. Good on near any map like the rest of Tier 1 but also struggling in more areas due to meta or otherwise than rest in the tier. normally, unless comp or map demands won't be banworthy.

Androxous: As stated in the predictions, he is performing as expected. Maybe slightly worse due to tank metas, but still one of the best flanks in the game in a lot of maps and matchups. I moved him down one tier solely due to how tanks have kinda been bullying him and I have seen more success with other characters so far in the flank category. Still a very solid pick, not many downsides, but still just lacking a lil bit as of right now it seems.

Buck: As much as I can't play him, I would definitely say based on performance he is competing with the better flanks. I wouldn't say he is the best since he is a bit more map oriented, but his performance definitely lands him at least here. His burst still will hurt like hell, and his self sustain is still nothing to scoff at. Yes like in predictions, I didn't think the burst would fully work, but with me seeing a lot less Jenos recently he has kinda been able to go buck wild in backline when he takes an uncontested lane or even if he breaks the contested lane. Due to him still struggling against CC, and tanks still able to bully him around, he still falls in lower Tier 1, but still much better than I initially was thinking he would be.

Cassie: Performing basically as expected there isn't much really to add here. Only thing I would really add is she is performing really well against the new tank, which given how I think she will be one of the best off tanks in a lot of the closer maps definitely helps cassie's ranking a bit more. But not enough for me to put her any higher than this. Great hybrid, never a super bad pick, very very versatile, but just missing that little bit that so many are bringing to fight the current meta just a bit more effectively, but also not normally banworthy.

Ash Ash

High tier 2: Not as good as tier 1 picks in a lot of circumstances but do have niche use if the ones in tier 1 are banned or the map is more favorable to these characters. Can become Tier 1 based on map and team comp but need to be built around more. Usually unless map and comp demands, won't be banworthy.

Ash: She is performing better than I originally expected in some regards, yet worse in others. Point tank wise she seems to have fallen quite a bit, due to Barik and a few others, but in off tanking she seems to have gone up in favor based on what I've seen. I can't put her quite into Tier 1 or low, solely because Resil is cheap and there are still better off tank contenders overall that with her being more of a specific map choice, she isn't as high up as she could be.
